There can be no doubt that the digital revolution has transformed the world, but, according to Andrew Keen, instead of making us more equal, more prosperous and more empowered, the reverse is actually true. Twenty-five years on from the invention of the
World Wide Web, its cultural, political, social and, above all, economic failures are becoming painfully apparent.
So what is to be done? Keen says we need to rethink the Web, revive government authority, rebuild the value of content, resurrect privacy and reconceive humanity. If we do nothing,
