The Geoffrey Dearmer Award is an annual poetry prize run by the Poetry Society, who award an annual prize to the best poem in The Poetry Review by a poet who had not, before the issue in which their work appeared, published a collection. Maitreyabandhu won the award in 2009.
In 2009, Maitreyabandhu won the Keats-Shelley Prize for Poetry.
And in 2012 he won the Michael Marks Award for Poetry Pamphlets.
