This is the first complete and up-to-date monograph on Japanese product designer Tokujin Yoshioka (b. 1967), renowned for his revolutionary use of paper in product design. The volume features a main survey of his work by design critic Ryu Niimi, and introduction by acclaimed fashion designer Issey Miyake and essays by Ross Lovegrove, Kozo Fujimoto, Ingo Maurer and Paola Antonelli. All of Yoshioka's work to date is covered, such as the famous Honey-Pop chair and designs for Issey Miyake stores. Each project is extensively illustrated with color photography, sketches and snapshots showing the design and manufacturing processes through to the finished work.
